loopykko
Really feel uncomfortable in my car at the moment. The car feels very floaty/rocky around corners and over bumps.I've been told the suspension is just too soft!So What are the best suspension kits/springs to get.Bear in mind I'm only 17 and wouldn't mind lowering the car aswell as it still has standard suspension.Any suggestions/helps/links will be appreciated. Thanks
CLAYTONJONES
I recommend AP coilovers, fitted them to my GTi a few weeks back and it has transformed the car. The ride is still good and the handling is excellent now. There not too expensive either at around £380 for a set.Hope this helps a bit. Sometimes going over uneven ground is a lot easier and faster with a softer suspension. Then you have a hard suspension. Before lowering me personally I would fit some arbs. That way you reduce the roll whilst keeping the comfort. Then you can lower on spirngs, shocks or coilovers later. All IMO of course.
Koop
If you want to know what will handle best, you can't go wrong with Bilstein B12s & Eibach springs.

Dblock
Anti roll bars. Pro is they reduce roll. By themselves they don't lower the car. Better handling and turn in feel. Cons, they don't lower your car (con for some people), they link the wheels more so if you get a bump on one side your other wheel will move too, can reduce traction or handling or rough or very uneven sufaces. Basically you car has arb's but by upgrading them to a thicker one (sometimes slightly different design) it will make the pros and cons more apparent. E.g. nothing in modding suspension is free, you gain with this and you lose with that generally I have found.
loopykko
There doesn't seem to be many ARBS on the market. Would changing the bushes/links be any good?
Dblock
IMO it won't stiffen it that much unless they are worn. One from a gti not fit? What about coilovers then?
