most decent tattooists will refuse to do hands necks and faces unless they know your seriously into the art as it is something that can effect the rest of your life.

i would never have my hands neck of face done as i want to be able to cover up if i want to my misses has tattoo's on her finger and neck but it's not my thing.

Noticed there are few of you from the NE in here. Where would you lot recommend checking out to have work done?

Ta :)

Depends what you want but Dark Circle in Middlesbrough are highly regarded and typically have a long waiting list.

I'm wondering whether to piss up another month of saving on covering my left arm from the elbow up

My pic?

It's by a Japanese Artist called Usugrow, all of his work has a really similar theme which I just find really interesting and fascinating. I came across him when I saw a picture of someone that had, had another of his pieces tattooed on to them and really like it so just did loads of research on him and his art and came across this one piece. He has a book which I got recently called Love Hate from JP which has a load of good art in it.

No real meaning as such to myself, I'm just fascinated by Japan which is how I came across it and it's a style of art I really like.

Ben, the guy who runs Dark Circle specialises in doing that kind of art - if memory serves me right he's called Mel.

There's a group on facebook with their work on - Dark Circle Tattoo Studio i think is the name of it.

Had a bit of shading done on the octopus on Friday, healing pretty well so far.

Picture taken on Saturday.

Shading looks pretty dark at the moment, but it will fade a little and will help with the colour once its on and make it look spot on.

Back again in a couple of weeks (pay day) to get the colour started. :)
