HalKK
Is the rear VW badge on the boot lid just a sticky back that can be pried off with a little persuasion? Or dose it have clips attaching it?

Jamie7
Is it possible to detached the chrome part of the badge away from the black bit?
Koop
Yup, when you take the badge off you'll see it's attached with what look like little plastic rivets, you can carefully drill or melt them, or even carefullier prise it apart with a screwdriver or something, ideally wrapped in cloth, & putting pressure as close to the 'rivets' as possible to pop each one in turn. briaan65
I second what Koops said, I did mine recently, just be careful when you do it. I found a liitle heat from a hot air gun helped a lot to remove the whole thing from the recess.I drilled mine out to get at the "VW" bit to paint it then glued it back in with a little silicone.
