Balltofeet
HelloNew member at 52 years of age I should know better than to by a Lupo GTi but I like them. Just got one nice car, low geared with lots of torque soa bit revvy just like a 1.6 Mark 1 Gti Golf I used to have.

Balltofeet
You have lowwered your Gti what did you use and how bad is it over bumps?
Silver!
It's lowered on KW V1 coilovers. Not sure how much, but it's ok on speedbumps and a sensible height for the roadtrips I do up here. I can get 2 fingers between the tyre and arch. I also run 20mm spacers on the rear, but ideally I think about 17mm may be better as I get catching on big fast bumps or when fully laden. I may get them machined at work. I can well recommend the KW V1s for ride and handling. Seen them adjusted in about 15mins in a carpark on a Lake District road trip. Didn't even take the wheels off.
