Jason_lupo22
Im driving a Lupo S 1.4 16v which is roughly 75bhp (so im told) atm and was looking to move on to the GTI. (I love the centered exhausts lol) Then i noticed the 1.4 16 lupo sport is meant to have 100bhp (again, so im told). So i was just wondering if there was anyway of me getting the extra couple bhp out of my lupo s to be like the lupo sport? I know someone will tell me to just buy the sport but i live in Northern Ireland and have been looking for one for a while but with no results. Cheers
jabbles21
Search for it.Then buy a sport or save up for a GTI.

jabbles21
Yep. Not worth it otherwise. It would likely cos more to insure a modified 75bhp than a standard 100bhp so no benefit there either.
Jason_lupo22
Never thought of it from an insurance point of view but cheers for the input!
Samanferr10
Sports are pretty hard to get your hands on but very quick and will probably be cheaper to insure than a GTI
sharpelupo
Sports are alot cheaper to insure but the 100bhp has its problems like gearbox and that, i had the 100bhp version had to replace a gearbox, now got a gti wish id just gone straight for the gti the extra money to buy and insure is worth it in my opinion.
