Not sure what size, width etc. I need, my boyfriend doesn't have a clue haha! Can anyone recommend Also is there any simple mods I can do to release more power from my 1.4? Koop Posted March 17, 2013 Report Share Posted March 17, 2013 Try classified section here or other dub forums - club polo's quite a good one as early polos have the same fitment as lupos - 4x100 pcd, 57.1mm centre bore. 14" & 15" are easiest to make work - 13s need mega lows to look good & 16s may require careful tyre choice or arch work - same with widths over about 7.5J.Get to know what all these numbers mean and have a nose round the members' cars section & work out what styles you like.Simple performance mods, basically air filter/induction kit, anything else is going to require some mechanical knowledge really. Karl_Mac_ Posted March 18, 2013 Report Share Posted March 18, 2013 BBS RAs from the mk2 Golf are a good wheel. 15" and vary in price depending on condition, but even a mint set shouldn't set you back more than a few hundred. Or buy a ropey set and paint them black. I recommend that wheel in particular because theres always some on eBay, so shouldn't bee too difficult to pick up.
