Ellzbmx
Hi I recently bought some new speakers to replace the stock ones in my doors They are jbl gto527 130mm two way After reading the how-to on here I think I know what to do but I don't have the tools to make an adaptor so they clear the windows when installed Would this be okay I'm not 100% and would like a second opinion before I waste £9 Look at this on eBay:Speaker Adaptor Kit for SEAT AROSA (1997-1999)http://bit.ly/ZSuhQ2Also I will be running these off my pioneer headunit 4x50
Wedge75
I made some out of mdf in my lupo It was left overs from the 15/16 mm parcel shelf but I wouldn't like to say if they'd fit an arosa
Al3xTee
If you're handy with a saw, you may be better off making your own. No one wants to say they'll fit because they might not!
Ellzbmx
I do have some 8mm mdf left are they only to space out the speakers?
Wedge75
Yeah as the window wind round all the way down catches the back of the speaker But you'll have to see if 8mm will bring the speaker out far enough so the window can go all the way down with out catching the speaker
GeoffD
i used 10 mm to clear my alpine bass units but each speaker is different. roll down the window and hold the speaker in place, that should give you the thickness of your spacer then its off to woodwork lessons.
