glenda@fastcar
Prob go matte black. But if it's the right wrap carbon can look cool. But people will never think it's a CF roof.
JoeA
I like the way it picks up the light people say omg fake carbon, but Im not trying to pass it off, I just really like carbon vinyl Edited February 14, 2013 by JoeA
shaunyshaun1234
I was thinking about going matte black.I have purchased the vinyl and its the matte textured type. Im certainly not trying to fool people into thinking its a cf roof! Just want a different look on the roof!!For the price of the vinyl and a couple of hours fiting it, its no big deal if I rip it off after a week!! JoeA
Well take your time fitting i paid to have mine done, ive wrapped many things before but watching the guys fit mine backed up my fears that i would only butcher it.
Pete91
I tried to wrap a spoiler on a 350z before and it was a proper ball ache. Wrapping is easy on small things but a lovely person on large areas. If ur up for it though man it'll be much more satisfying doing it yourself. shaunyshaun1234
No harm in having a go!!Like I say, the vinyl was purchased at a good price so its no great loss to be honest!!I have been quoted £80 for a matte black wrap by a friend which I thought was fairly steep but we'll see! JoeA
I was quote 100-120, i got in the car to walk away and he came out saying okay 80 was supposed to be £50, thats why i went down. Got there, measured up, and it turns out lupos have quite big roofs (due to their boxy shape), it meant that the vinyl had to be cut the other way and therefore use more. Glad i stuck to my guns.
