Deadmetal
If you've got that sort of money, look at Focal stuff. I have these in my car, they are awesome. Enough bass to make the windows rattle, yet remain clear at silly loud volumes.http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/8729.htmlThat'll leave you with £200 to spend on a very good single din cd player. You really don't need a sub or amp in a Lupo.

Battsy
I know halfords is halfrauds but i bought this a year ago and its been perfect for my car, http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_723155_langId_-1_categoryId_265873Im also using a Jvc Kd-r421 headunit which is 4x50w power and im running these on the front doors:http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_773339_langId_-1_categoryId_265870You would think the sound is bad but its actually really good, its not all about the names on the product its about the performance.
Skezza
Don't do it buddy. Stick some high quality door speakers in and leave it at that.I really don't get this whole subwoofer ****, I'm clearly way too old. I'm only bloody 23. Pete91
You might not think that lupos need a sub but then obviously that depends what your after and what you like. Personally i feckin love the bass in mine and just comps up front wouldn't do it for me.
Pete91
Use the ice league table on here. It gives you a pretty good starting point.

Personally i feckin love the bass in mine and just comps up front wouldn't do it for me.It's not that, I just don't think it really adds anything to the experience of driving your car. I guess I'm biased. Maybe if I fitted a really good one, my opinion would eventually change. There are so many mods you can do, that enhance your driving experience and I think front door speakers are a good example of that. However subs have just never come across as one of those. All opinion I guess Edited January 28, 2013 by Skezza
