MattAlder77 Posted December 22, 2012 Report Share Posted December 22, 2012 Just got a new coilpack fitted yesterday and the car seems to be running on 2 cylinders, it's worse than before the coilpack replacement. Can anybody take a photo of their engine bay so I can see the order of the leads? Thinking it might be a rookie mistake. Driving a 1.4 Sport, not sure if that makes a difference though... cheers! smithy84 Posted December 31, 2012 Report Share Posted December 31, 2012 The coil pack is usually numbered as to which lead goes on which socket, plug 1 being the one on the left as you look at the engine. (or at least it was numbered on my ibiza) my lupo is only a 1.0 8v but i can post a pic of that if it helps Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Paul T Posted January 4, 2013 Report Share Posted January 4, 2013 If you have a look at all four spark plugs mate the the cylinders that are affected the sparkplugs will be a lot darker and damper on the ends then all you have to do is swap the two affected leads round.
