GTIChris
Bought a set of BBS split rims as bit of a winter project in major need of a refurb.*(WARNING,E-BAY AND STRONGBOW DO NOT MIX)*Not really any curbing as such but the lacquer is terrible and peeling off all over the place. Will I be better getting them shot/bead blasted and start afresh ?Would it be better to split them to get a better finished product ?These are what I want them to look like but they're miles off looking like this."Cheeky pic copy from another post"Any tips would be much appreciated. James827
Ergh Strongbow. S'all about Stella. Um, depends how much you want to spend? I assume the Lips are diamond cut, but can be sanded down and polished if you desired. if you Can spend Big bucks take it to a Pro and tell them what you want!but, you could pull the centres Out, nitromors them down, give them a Key and then Spray them with rattle cans.Powder coating is a possibility but if they have curbing it will show through the Powder-coat unless you get them Filled, Guessing it needs welding and filing back.
