davidelliott294 Posted October 2, 2012 Report Share Posted October 2, 2012 (edited) Do you HAVE to remove the alternator to get the part number or are all the part numbers the same for a GTI? I kind of need my car every day and it would be pretty much a big hassle to remove the alternator then have to re-attach it.GTI 2001 no air-con so i'm guessing a 70amp alternator? 90amp will do the job as well?
