willmott1234
hi, was wondering if anyone could help me?i have bought new 5 stud wheels (golf montreal) and spacers/adaptors, the front ones fit fine with no problems, But when it comes to the rear there seems to be a problem between the hub ( as there isnt discs on the rear ) and the spacers because it only turns half way its asif its getting caught inside the hub? if someone who knows about spacers/adapters could help it would be great! scotty_82
Its probably fouling on the caps that sit over the centre nut on the drum, whip them off and they should sit smooth.
Hakster
Maybe the bolts going from the spacer to the hub are too long and fouling on the drum internals...
scotty_82
I read it wrong, hakan is proabbly right, the bolts will be to long and fouling on the internals in the hub.
Silver!
Yep, shorter bolts required.
Mike_M
As above.Bolts should be the same length as originals plus the width of the spacer/adapter
