Ashh
Cos welding is free. And if you're confident enough in the weld then why not?Because the box probably won't then crumple as intended? Its weak because it needs to be

consam44
why lupo rear bumper? ill do the standard one theres nothing wrong with it, and i cant be botherd for smoothing front end it will only crack in the ling run i might coulor code the black bits and maybe in inner grill bit on the front not the actuall grills keep them black to brake it up abit
Sammy Lupo
Because the arosa rear bumper has that little line boulging out from it and I just dont like it myself personally, if it was up to me thats what id do and deffo leave the lower grill black! looks lovley though

consam44
I know! Ive re welded it hoping it will hold this time
Pete91
Because the box probably won't then crumple as intended? Its weak because it needs to beHmm yeah good point. But surely properly re-doing the weld that was originally done poorly will bring it to the standard of buying a new box?
Pete91
I know! Ive re welded it hoping it will hold this timeI'm arguing the opposite in the above post but there is no way i'd be welding the same box for the fourth time instead of just buying a new one. Surely the amount of time you've spent taking the box out each time massively outweighs the cost of buying a new one?
