Beany
Yeah they're standard wheels, how low is very and could I get over speedbumps? And goes going over speedbumps at an angle actually help?
joshuaar
You'll be able to go un drivably low on 13s. Just get the coilovers and spend some time messing with them until you get to the height you want
Thooooom
i ran mine this low on standard 13" wheels and got over the speed bumps near me okay, but all speed bumps are different obviously and i have no idea what the ones near you are like, i did occasionally drop onto the subframe, but only on huge bumps. and even when it did it wasnt a problem. shaunsprules
Lupo's won't struggle to get over a speedbump as the chassis length is so short but aslong as you don't think your a rally driver then u will be fine
TArosa
mines on 13" with standard tyres and the cat tends to catch on cats eyes on the road so pritty low.. just look out for drive shafts on the chassis and the body will probablies sit on the anti roll bars

Beany
Will I need to change drop links or anything else if I fit coilovers? Just trying to get an idea of total cost Edited July 22, 2012 by Beany
shaunsprules
Depend as mine was mint underneath and everything was like new, if your car hasn't had the best start in life they ye but if it's a granny cruiser then not really just plug in and play' as they say
Beany
Mines done 38k, 11 by me rest by an old woman, was well looked after, just wondered one set of coilovers said you need them if you go past 40mm on the front :/
TArosa
inevitably you will have to change drop links, ball joints and wishbone bushes along with a few wheel bearings along the way but it depends as to what conditions yours are in if you need to replace them
Beany
So going lower won't affect them they won't be too long or anything?

strickie
iv got the standard 13's on my lupo with the coilovers wound all the way down to the last thread front and back. the only problem iv found is it doesnt handle very well and its put abit of camber on the front which is trashing my tyres and skids alot. ha. being low doesnt cause any serious problems though. cheers jed
shaunsprules
I've had my tyres on the front for a year now with 0.3 toe out and no camber wear at all !!!! Depends on how it's set up but slamming a car will never get u round the corners well :L
