GeoffD
has anyone taken apart the electric window switches on a lupo? are the seperate swich parts underneath the plastic the same as a mk 4 golf, ie the swich itself, of which there are three in the drivers door on the lupo?just trying to save myself a few quid by doing some surgery on some old switches i have lying around

GeoffD
thanks mate, how did i miss that? thats not quite what i wanted to know but its certainly a help. the switches that i got when i raided an arosa sport were in bits so i knew that they came out of the plastic mounting that fits in the door. i hadnt considered taking them to bits, i was simply going to replace them with golf ones if thats possible. but stripping them is no problem - simples thanks geoff

Rich
There are plenty of local 6n2's (same switches) in local scrappys, just have a look about.
