James827
Was down a local Motor factors today, Getting parts for another car and I thought id get a ball park Figure on my clutch as its Playing up a bit. the guy came-back with a price of £260! he said he checked it twice over to make sure all the details were correct and it was! Obviously im going to ring about other places but Christ £260! for a clutch kit! does anyone know if this is the type of money im going to be Looking at for a clutch? or is it Just unusually high in that place for no reason? Seen some on EBay for £120 ish but not 100% if they will be the correct ones and i hate returning items via post so would rather buy Local. albino0
hi,I'd be very keen on any photos you take as you go!If you havent got a clutch yet, there seems to be a good price herehttp://www.carparts4less.co.uk/cp4l/c/Volkswagen_Lupo_1.7_2001/p/car-parts/car-transmission/clutch-and-associated-parts/clutch-kit/?641441690&1&4175157c0b8d419f5340b25c81f4c8c3b67557e7&000069Sachs, so I assume its better than the £50 ebay ones. That site seems to have a thing where you type your car reg in, so hopefully it should adjust for any engine changes etc as years progress?(I know very little about cars, so feel free not to take my word on it!)al
