Right i have no idea why i havent started one of these already :surprised:

anyway

picked up my lupo gti from the other side of kent ...... was a trek...

but after talking on the phone to the lady first . i found out it only had 2 owners from new her being the second :) and had full vw service history :)

and because i asked about the water pump and cambelt and found out they hadnt ever been changed in the 74,000 miles :surprised: . so the kind lady took it to vw and had them both done with a full service costing her 800 pounds . but didnt charge me a penny more then the asking price :)

so after the test drive checking it worked properly :shifty:

i drove it home :)

and gave it a well deserved wash

well ive got a few little things done which will have pictures up later on

like the cda with the piping

and just simple things like de wipered back

and just tidying bits up where people have just ignored them before. like the brake calipers looked shocking all faded

but plans are next few weeks kw coilovers hopefully

*then sourcing what wheels i want

*sorting engine bits out as looks filthy

*stubby drivers mirror

*arch rolling

*and somewhere in the distant future interior :)

*and full exhaust system

thats all i can think of for now but were see :)

had some free time this weekend so finally got round to sorting a few bits out :)

so i started with the callipers as they were faded and looked shocking .

so decided that red was boring so went for Cadburys Purple :thumbsup:

and had a lovely parcel turn up in the post thanks to Robgti :shifty:

so thought as the weathers nice, ill make the use of it.

so out came the seats

and started to take off all the plastics from the back :yes:

then started to change

couldnt be happier with them :thumbup:

then came the fun bit of putting it all back together .

didnt get any pics of this stage :innocent:

and as the weather stayed good, managed to was the car too :thumbup:

belts look good dude :) just need the interior now ;) ;)

If only I had that sort of money burning a hole in my pocket :) and thank you for the nice comments . Purples always been my favourite :)

right update time :)

totally forgot about my cda that i brought. haha

so now its fitted to my car, but broke a juballee clip :angry2: somehow.

and

just a few small bits going on the car in the next few days

got a stubby mirror for my drivers side :) just need to paint the cover

and finally got a new toe eye cover :thumbsup: also just needs painting :innocent:

may cahnge some of my induction kit around and add some more shiney pipe and finally get a new jubalee clip too :)

Looking good nick, I really need to do an update on mine....and finish stitching all the seats lol seatbelts really do look nice x

right its ben a while since i updated this :innocent:

so here we go a few new bits have come along firstly these turned up in the post

and the car was lowered alot on the standard wheels :thumbup:

then i purchased these for a mear 50 quid :thumbsup:

which was a steal. then i got to sanding them back and primering them :) loving the card trick :shades:

so a couple of things done :)

firstly finished my wheels and got them on my car :thumbsup:

went with the matt purple to go with the car :shifty:

then realised that it sat too high so rear adjusters out :thumbup:

and front wound down so ive closed the arch gap up :yes:

Purple P's nice! Don't think I've seen a GTI on P sluts. Some VW centre caps would finish them off nicely.
