I bought this car standard in may 2012, cost me little money for a decent car. After my mk2 golf, this was a height of luxury!

I have no pics of it standard, but you all know what a lupo looks like right?

4 hours after I bought it, the alternator died http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/#EMO_DIR#/sad.png Luckily my mate had a bora alternator lying around so I 'borrowed' it!

Then I got some second hand coilies and some alloys, popped them on one overcast afternoon and this is how she sits!

It needs a little archwork, but nothing compared to the golf!

Then I pulled up to work the one day and my wheel bearing kersploded, so £45 later...

Then I had it tracked because it was pulling to the right, real bad.

And going down the road with my girlfriend, the wishbone bolt fell out! If it was standard height then I wouldn't have noticed, because it's lowered the bolt hit the ground but didn't come loose from the wishbone, just made a mass of smoke and noise. Fml?

And this is the golf I've upgraded / downgraded from

Loved that little thing http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/#EMO_DIR#/sad.png

Comments welcome, hoping to get into the lupo scene and do a few meets etc!

I miss the golf, but it had to go :( The lupo is so nice to drive, compared to a carbed mk2 with a straight through and cherry bomb!

Plans are ongoing, it's blowing from the flexi atm so I'm going to get that patched up, then just go with the flow?

And I spaced the rear out to ET20 instead of 38 because they looked lost in the arch. And they almost touched my coilie </3

Also, while I'm here, I had to cut out my arches to allow for the rubbage. They stil rub (mission failed) but they don't take massive chunks out the tyres anymore.

And we sprayed my mates beefa not long ago, so he took it out for a photoshootage

I've fallen out of love with the loop, but my insurance and mot is due beginning of November so it's time to pull my finger out my ring bit! I've bought some hid's to replace mine as I don't have a high beam, 4 new tyres, cv boot and I need to sort out a slight blow from my centre section. I need a NSF headlight lens though, anybody willing to part with one for some beer tokens would be much appreciated. I've decided to keep her another year, so after my insurance and mot is done, expect some updates!

Went to a mates kennels to get my arches sorted, the scrubbing had to stop! Also in preperation for the future...

Arches rolled:

And Mr Postman finally came up with the goods! It's bigger than I expected, but my exhaust is blowing so took the plunge. Not sure if it'l look a little chavvy though?

Also getting some new shoes ordered tomorrow for the new season...the ball is rolling!

Just re read the ebay advert for the backbox, it said it was made to fit a '1.4 16v' and 'exit at the centre of the bumper'

However looking at it, it seems a bit big to sit in my recess.

Not impressed, they didn't make it clear that it wasn't for the sport model and was just a replica, so I've emailed the to see about a refund. I can see some bad feedback going their way for not making it clear. Tamping.

On a positive note, my wheels should be here tomorrow sometime.
