Lupopo
Hi dude, You will prob find its a twin filament hi/lo bulb n the dipped beam has broken, when you hit the head light the broken filament bridges and works.....sort of! Replace the bulb n everything should be good!Hope this helps!
Koop
Could be the headlight switch or 2nd post suggests a possible loose connection somewhere at the headlight end did you hit one & both came on? Rosko94
thanks for your help guys, ive got 2 brand new bulbs in they were working but now there not? so im guessing it must be the switch. i am taking it to a garage tomorrow to have it looked at
8ballvmax
check the wiring block that plugs into the bulb, mine had melted and caused similar problems, a cheap universal replacement from flea bay sorted it
Rosko94
turns out the 2 brand new bulbs blew :/ lol
Defcon5
What bulbs were they? I would guess there is an emectrical fault somewhere that caused them both to blow
Lupopo
Did you get you grubby fingers on the glass of the bulb? because the oil from your skin causes hotspots on the glass and causes the bulbs to blow!
Rosko94
they were rally blue bulbs, and it must have be some dirt on the bulbs or somthing
