saulbrown
Sorry to post in here as well as the Arosa specific section, Just feel this could be answered here as well! Hi Guys, after a visit to the garage today, I was advised on getting a new mass airflow sensor, as my idle is very lumpy, up and down and also a slow response on the accelerator pedal! Could someone please tell me the difference, which I actualy have, the MAF or MAP? Or if anyone has had this issue?Seat Arosa 1.4 16vThanks,Saul. alecvincent123
There two different sensors, MAF works by measuring the amount of air entering your engine, where as MAP ( manifold absolute pressure) works by measuring the pressure in your manifold and the calculating the amount of air from this.MAP sensors are connected to the manifold,MAF are fitted to your intake somewhere.
