This is my first car, only a 1.0 due to ridiculous insurance prices!

This is it when i got it, back in September.

Since then I have:

- changed the rear lights to Lupo ones

- fitted new vibe slick speakers

- got a Connects2 cable hidden behind dash connected to my iPod

- cupholders (ultimate necessity)

- sprayed interior parts gloss black

- stubby aerial

- aero wiper blades

Things to come:

- 60mm lowering springs

- some 15's maybe

- colour code rear and front valances

Been a while since i've done anything, due to having to pay £250 for a new pedal box! At least i can actually change gear properly now.

But today i gave it a good clean, and with the recent weather, thought i'd remove the rear wiper.

I finally got round to ordering some springs last week, turned up today and booked in on Saturday to be fitted. Not much, but looking forward to something new!

Picked up the new wheels today, 2 in the boot and 2 on the front seat!

Had a spare couple hours so thought i'd stick them on to get the idea

Hope fully get them cleaned and maybe sprayed at the weekend, and to bring the front down a bit, might get a coil or 2 cut from the springs to get it looking a bit better

Nice rims! Polo gti wheels look great on lupos and arosas. If you want the front lower id recommend just saving up and getting some JOM coilovers (£200) a much better option than cutting springs if you ask me, that can get a tad risky.

its a 60mm drop all round but the front has never really come down as much as the rear.

I'm not really bothered about coilovers as the rear is how i want it, and my friends got an mx5, got lowering springs, chopped a couple coils out and it just sits perfect and he's had it like that for about 6 months now, with no problems

Been a while since anything has happened with the car, so last week saw a great deal for 60% off some coilovers, and snapped them up right away!

I'll only give you a sneeky shot of them, but was very impressed with ordering them last Friday evening and receiving them today, bearing in mind they've come all the way from Germany!

Rather a big update for a change, been a while since ive done anything due to the numerous problems that keep occurring! So heres the list, firstly i had a bit of a hole in my exhaust, so got the guys to patch it up at work and everything was good, stupidly went to a festival where it decided to break off in half along with filling the underside with mud!

IMG_1645.jpg?t=1343936617

Unfortunately didnt get a shot of the halved exhaust.

Next problem on the list.......Buckled Wheels! I hit a pothole at around 50mph and BANG, burst the nearside front tyre and buckled the wheel

IMG_1622.jpg?t=1343936471

So ive had to put 2 of my old wheels back on the front, looking a little drift spec

IMG_1624.jpg?t=1343936583

Went to get the exhaust and CAT fitted yesterday to find the nearside rear wheel is buckled as well and the old wheel on the front has a nail in!

So i thought, screw it and bought some brand new wheels from work and should be here tomorrow!

Oh and heres what my old tyres looked like when i got them replaced! Oops.

Things still to do:

- Bring down the rear a little more

- Space out the front

- Get the tracking fixed

- Bodywork repairs

And then hopefully it will be how i want it!
