Heyaxe Posted February 16, 2012 Report Share Posted February 16, 2012 I am looking to get as much power out of my 1.4 sport as possible, and i noticed that the intake manifold is cast unlike the crap plastic one i have at the moment.I was thinking of using the gti manifold for my sport and was wondering if this would have any improvements? Cooper_GTI Posted February 16, 2012 Report Share Posted February 16, 2012 You would probably gain something.As far as fitting is concerned, i think the 1400 head uses the same port spacing (certainly on the exhaust side) as the GTI.You may have to do some chopping and changing with the various breathers though.
