Joti Posted April 17, 2012 Author Report Share Posted April 17, 2012 Well the car went to have the clutch done todayThey found the flywheel was quite heavily pitted - this may explain why since buying the car, it was quite juddery under 1500rpm in all gears....I decided to get it skimmed, which means that the job will now not be finished today, but when it is all done, it will drive better than ever Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Previously at under 1500RPM the car would start behaving as if it was gonna kangaroo, I would change down a gear to solve this, but if it was in first gear I'd have to ride the clutch a little or coast!!!It cost £60 to get the flywheel skimmed, but it looks as good as new now...Yeah, the clutch was a bit of a pain - £400 I could have done without spending but such is the nature of being a car nut, as I'm sure you appreciate Edited April 18, 2012 by Joti Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
