lupo 1.7sdi Posted January 18, 2012 Report Share Posted January 18, 2012 You should check both the gear linkages and all engine mountings because a bad position of the engine can cause trouble getting into 1st gear, 2nd or R. Usually only those 3 gears are effect because they are placed at the limit of gearshift movement and there isn't enough space.These are only suppositions and only a good mechanic can establish the actual cause.
