Ha! So after all that you're keeping it?!

Good choice.... ;)

At the time I owed a fair whack of money, now I'm out of that... Time to get myself back in! ;)

Nah, I'm doing things properly this time instead of budget!

So recently i've been trying to sort out some heated seats, been a massive pain in the arse so far!

So it started with these for the sum of £90:947EACC5-91E3-4F0D-9DD0-C5493D385C65-15558-000009638A7F764D.jpg

Which were closey followed by these for the bargain price of £45

Got them all wired in by a friend who's more than handy with electrics, to find the drivers seat did not heat! but the passenger did! So after a chat with the previous owner, we settled on i'd pay him just 1 Pint for the seats. Absolute BARGAIN :)! Set of mk4 (1heated) seats for a pint!

So this happened:

And the seats covers and heaters were swapped over! Bases were also grinded:

Finally the seats were in! At first i thought i'd be able to dremel my switch blanks to fit around the MK4 switches, After cocking 1 up and not being happy with the other i decided these werent going to stay! ran them for a while until i could find some Passat B5 switches!

Leaving me with:

And:

YAY!

I still need to recover the passenger seat and get it fitted, i've currently trying to source new elements as TSO would like warm bums too!

Coilovers this month off another member, then rear ARB in february...

Been a while!

So i managed to find a set of coilovers and a GTI rear beam (Thanks Trucido and CasperGTI, John) for good monies so i got them bought and have had them sat in my garage waiting to go on.

Cleaned up the coilovers and repainted the jabbasport rear ARB as it had seen better days!

AFDAEB49-3D4D-41F6-804C-34051026C0A8-6227137E7CE-846F-425C-9DE4-43F7E3801A6C-622

On they go!

A362E6EE-1514-42D6-8AE2-61F9ED64AC74-6222217D824-F393-47E7-8F90-BEF8841DBD9D-622A56F88B4-65A5-4082-BED3-F63055CCFC7A-622

I then had a small issue. Despite the discs being the same size as my fronts, the callipers are a lot larger so wont take my 13 steels! Massive problem.

With the car up on 4 axle stands going nowhere i rung around some buddies and managed to find a set of arosa sport alloys i could use until i can source some wheels for myself! So heres how she sits now!

D6FE402E-3931-448F-9B1A-11976689AC67-622

So the spec now stands:

GTI rear beam upgrade

Goodridge braided brake lines

Jabbasport rear ARB

Eibach Camber shims set to 2deg

Weitec Coilovers

I am aware the car is unlevel, literally just wanted to get it down and get inside as it was raining!

Also in more childish news, my car hit boobs.

Not so sure why im bothering with this but hey ho!

Managed to find myself a set of wheels. Marmite wheels but the fitment is to die for! Centra 7's! 15" Et12

Also decided i want to see what the car looks like with US side markers from a MK4... So i got myself a second bumper and set about cutting! coming along well considering i've nothing to go by as the lupo was never sold in the US!

And here's how the car currently sits... wheels and bumper on end of the month.
