Had the car since may 2010, past on the August and on the road I went.

Bought the car completly standard with 62k on,

First thing i done was the timing belt as the was no service history of it. Then started with the interior plastics

swapping them all to dark black, and getting myself a set of black mk4 recaros, 3 door. Also got myself a set of BBS RX's I think they are, from a polo gti at a nice cheap price :)

Then next came the optional extra spoiler, that i got a hold of, price wasnt the best but i wanted one

Then i had a slight accident and seemed to loose all faith in the bitch.

Happy with her now, going to save abit money over the winter and get all the body work done once the bad weather goes, opinions ideas, more than welcome

Tony :)

Ps most of it is copy and pasted from DNE so some of you might recognise it :)

I am going to exactly the same as what you are going to do - i have a set of 5. I have done a little bit of investigating allready and there is one minor prob which i have resolved. The wheel bolt in the boot is not long enough.

I am just thinking there can't be that many people that have a set of 5 starlites.

Neither am i. I was lucky to get a 5th - an odd one came up on Ebay about a month ago.

The wheel bolt that i have got try is out of a Fiat Punto - lol who though Fiat works in Vw!!!

But it should reslove the length issue.
