Pete
I can't really understand people going from a fabia vrs to a lupo gti, as I bet mapped up they're rapid little things, probably don't look as good but more economical and quicker! Good luck with your search though buddy! Plenty of gti's kicking around for that sorta money now.
Big Jase
I think a lupo gti would run with a mapped vrsBut personally id chose the fabia everyda

Big Jase
Well id say they'd be pretty identicalHad fabias in all formsStandard170bhp220bhpTheyre quick mapped but by no means rapidI think a mapped vrs vs gti would be identicalThe gti would muller it in the twistiesIm good bud! Not been interested in cars for a while, just passed the half way mark of my year ban! Im actually looking for a lupo gti for the other half
CHRLUPO
Hey Jase! Your old motor is headed to England shire with a more standard look. Can't say I agree with ya about your Fabia. After fixing the boost leaks etc the Fabia was blowing mark 1 S3's mark IV R32's etc out of the water in straight line speed. As for cornering it's not as great now with the standard suspension but with the V1's and the setup it was running it was as stiff as Hefner's pole after two doses of Viagra through the windies. I'm going from a fabia back to a lupo GTI because I love the look of them especially dropped on moderlines! (my plan).
Big Jase
You have my old one?Aye mines could blow the shizzle out of 1.8t'sBut a remapped one on a stock tubby can go pretty quick up until about 80 but then loses puff! Heak soak on the standard intercooler is also an issue
Pete
Around 80-90 is where the gti usually starts lagging! How can you be after another gti? You've only just sold one!!
CHRLUPO
I don't have it Jase no I just sold it. Been in touch with you through other forums etc.
3lward
I know alot of people who have run high powered dervs, the main reason for converting back over to petrol is that diesels just dont feel like a driver car, and they miss the sound of a petrol bouncing off the limiter at 7k lol
Big Jase
7k is that itHad an old ek9 with a teg engine... Bounced at 9.5k rpm! Hit tec at 4.5k.... Had 5k revs of vtec lol
