Posted August 30, 2011 Report Share Posted August 30, 2011 I finely got a gearbox out of a 2002 polo 6N2 to go in the Sport, the drivers mounting was spot on, and on top of the gearbox there is a mounting and it is not meeting up too the top mounting to bolt down it looks like gearbox is too short has anyone changed a gearbox and came up with the same troubles?! Berty Posted September 3, 2011 Report Share Posted September 3, 2011 where did ya get the box from, mine is whining like hell in 5th gear, think the pinion bearing is goosed, just askin where ya get box from cos i'm from north east. did ya manage to get the polo box workin?
