Rich Posted August 27, 2011 Report Share Posted August 27, 2011 Buy the fluid from vag, G 052 171 A1 capacity is 2.1 litres.16mm 12 point torque bit.Drain hole is at the bottom on the passenger side, fill hole is at the side on the drivers, semi awkward to get to, easiest way I've found is to take the airbox, get a funnel and tube and go from there.Ask Steve Cresswell if I can have a job. lupogtiboy Posted April 22, 2013 Report Share Posted April 22, 2013 ETKA states that the 5 speed GTI uses G052 512 A2 for 1.9 litres (FHE Gearbox code)The ESP, EXB and GAX gearbox codes are 1.4 tdi gearboxes, which is the same oil as 6 speed GTI boxesI've added an ETKA screenshot to show!!
