fatty
Not a fan of white wheels on red cars. Got a wheel plan. Should be coming soon. After i've got it running correctly and chassis notched it. Going to continue the base model chic look.

What a moron!Anyway another job for when it goes into bodyshop in the next couple of months. fatty
Well Look What turned upSo went and got them popped on today165/50's on a 6" Give a little stretch. And the wheels are on!Tuck is the new poke Was gunna run big Audi Caps but I quite like the steels so gunna clean them up, give them a quick lick of paint and run as is. Obviously they're tucking quite a lot so I've got a set of 10mm Spacers on there way and I need to take the rest of the adjusters out of the back. Then chassis notch so the front can go down more.Kinda going for a Base spec Chic look, so leaving the bumpers, gunna lose the passenger mirror and probably re fit my badged grille. Looking at getting the bodywork sorted in the next couple of months. Edited September 8, 2011 by fatty
Kez1990
that actually looks quite good haha, what kinda steels are they?
fatty
Clio 15's. Even with the price of buying Spacers they're cheaper than G60's haha.
fatty
Well today I went out and removed the last bits of the rear adjusters and fitted my 10mm Spacers.I'm happy with the tuck at the front but need the rears spaced out more so I'm gunna go for some 20mm spacers and maybe a little bit of camber.Unfortunately as the eagle eyed among of you may notice I have stripped a thread on the rear passenger side. So new drums and shoes are going on.Really needs a clean but it started raining and I was fed up. Edited September 10, 2011 by fatty

Unpainted bumpers FTW!!Just off ebay. Beware 45mm are too long on steels with 10mm spacers on the back.
HalfOfZero
This sounds silly, but would that include G60's? I know theyre just steelys but I think theyre wider or something?
fatty
This sounds silly, but would that include G60's? I know theyre just steelys but I think theyre wider or something?Yeah They have a lower Offset than these have.........Hmmm I'm not sure tbh dude but I'm sure someone on here will have tried it.I've ordered some 20mm Bolt on Hubcentrics for the back now anyway so I'll have no probs. fatty
Today was a day off work and I was around at the 'rents. My brother has recently sold his Passat and the wheels from it were sitting in the Back Garden Staring at me. So I thought it would be rude not to try them:Apologies. The car is filthy after going to the Girlfriends and back over the weekend (250 Miles each way!) and the wheels need a clean and refurb. They sit brilliantly, and the back would be even better with my 10mm Spacers in but I'm skint Popped into my mates though and he gave me these:Very tempted just to buy the ATS' off my brother though! I'm sure I have overtime coming up Edited November 30, 2011 by fatty

The Drivers side bolster has a hole so I'm gunna try and sort that.I also got the rear bench so me and my Dad are gunna use that to recover a Lupo Split fold Rear Bench. Then I'm gunna have to get the rest of the interior black!CV joint has gone as well so thats another job that I'll have to sort this week.
