My beloved Lupo GTI is up for sale, I've owned this car for the past 3 and a half years. During my owner ship it has undergone a lot of changes to get to the standard it is today.

This is a very difficult decision for me, and I'm not 100% sure on my decision so for now, the car is only advertised here. Any interest contact me via PM. Thanks, Alex.

The car has a great history, it was originally a Volkswagon demonstration model and so was very highly spec'd it came out of the factory with heated black leather, Air con, and side airbags. The car was brought and owned by EVO Car Magazine and was used as their long term test car for two years. During that time it was featured in 8 magazines. I currently have 4 of the issues, one of which is a double page spread.

I purchased the car in March 2008, at the time it has 55,000 with full service history.

Nice car but how much :o

that is a very fair price, this isnt some cat d write off here. start breaking down the cost of the mods and they probable add up to 7.5k lol.

This car is absolutely spotless, you would be very very hard pushed to find a better example than this.

That's a very fair price imo! This is easily one of the best gti's around, it's had a lot of time, effort and money spent on it and for only a couple of thousand more than you can pick up a standard gti you can have this show winner.

lol at the cat d write off...

i've had enough modded cars to know you don't get the money back on them

i had a 323bhp 1.9tdi golf with documented receipts totalling 18k

and i got 5.5k for it

it was also a 'show' car

as seen in galleries hereclick

im not denying its a nice car but come on....

I cant see it...?

I was thinking about 4.5-5k

Im on planet earth?

I appreciate your point about modified cars, my price is open to offers / discussion. Im not expecting a quick sale, if there is someone out there who wants an immaculate GTI ready for show use then this is it, if not there are plenty of ruined GTI's coming up at £2.5K> and mid-range for about £4K> this is neither.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys.

I think I am going a little crazy, i threatened to sell last year and bottled it.

As for a replacement, nothing is on the cards, I would really like to put some money back into my house (do the kitchen, doubleglazing boring stuff like that lol)

PM'd

I agree with you Jase I have never really got money back from mods on a car either. But this car is most definitely show standard and the mods are not average thus this car is no longer an average GTI. I think a car is worth what its able to fetch and I reckon this car could fetch this. Im a member on eastside VW and Colin (Bluloop) from there also on here managed to sell his without breaking for a lot more than a normal GTI.
