rapidebrothers
Hi there I am wanting to replace my worn gear box gaiter but don't know how the Gear Knob comes off?Any help would be most appreciated!!Thanks!
NOCK
Lift up the gaiter surround by getting your fingers underneath it (it pops out quite easily) and then lift it upwards so that you can see the gear stick. The knob is held on with a ring, get a screwdriver underneath the ring and prize it wider, the knob will then lift off. I'm sure that will all make a lot more sense when you do it. Hope that helps.

jon_273
And when you get the gearknob off there is a black collar holding the gator to the knob. It doesn't look like it's meant to come apart but it can be prised apart quite easily with a screwdriver.
