(i got a 2003 1.4s) as they are £50 cheaper!! well £40 when taking in cost of P&P :shades: ) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ap-coilover-suspension-kit-VW-Lupo-6X-no-GTI-no-3L-type-/220756320687?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item33661a21af#ht_1385wt_1197

I've known AP's take a very long time in the past, others get em reasonably fast though

Hmm Don't wanna be waiting ages, the standard suspension is a pisstake on the lupo, well too bloody soft, turn round a round about and u have to hold onto the steering wheel not to fall out of ur seat! :(:(

Found seomthing else out, i googled lupo ap coilovers and it returned this dpm site http://www.dpmperformance.co.uk/ap-coilover-suspension-kitbr-lupo-10-14-14tdi-gti-16-17sdi-1098-p-5039.html with the £401 price

then went onto their website, and onto vw - lupo - coilovers clicked on the same AP's and it returned this price...

Considering now, saving some DOLLAR and getting the JOM's Hows peoples experiences with them?

If all the nuts and bolts a not rusted on then they'll be a quick fit. I fitted the rears in about an hour on my own. Fronts took a while as the bottom nuts where stuck.

Deff go for the APs over the TAs if you have the money. Pretty much everyone doesnt like the of TAs and everyone who has APs (myself included) thinks they're pretty damn good.

APs will last dude, yeah I fitted mine myself, it's easy if you know your way around a spanner, and pay attention to the order of the bits you take of especially on the rear.

i should hopefully be doing business with Awesome GTI tomorrow!. Did you buy over the phone? never bought anything over the phone if im honest prefer internet or in person so kinda iffy :/ lol

Erm did u need spring clamps at all in fitting the new ones as i have to take the bushes off the top of the old ones? said spring clamps may be needed. ddid u have to use them?

Definately worth buying ap they are mint. Had them on mine for a while. Also agree their an easy driveway fit.

What did u need? did u use axel stands?

Im thinking of jacking it up on the spare wheel jack thing then just cracking a like car wedge thing under it so it cant drop cause i dont have an axel stand

But may have the use of college ramps and stuff so might be fitting there hopefully!!!!
