Right, the ball is getting rolling with Vixen now, haven't posted in while. Now I'm settled into Uni and exams are over Vixen has been getting some TLC. Since last update, abit more carbon, some GTI rear door cards with alpine type e co-ax behind. Ive also had the back box replaced with a straight pipe from the mid-box, which, IMO sounds nice, not chavvy, just like before but less muffled with a slight rasp.

Past Months work:

-A fair fews LEDs

-Osram Nightbreakers

-Chrome indicator bulbs (de-oranged)

-Conti sport front tyres

-New lower front bumper in black (wasn't a fan of the colour coded one, plus was a **** job whoever the last owners got to do this)

-Pressed plates (finally, been wanting these for ages!)

-New heater resistor

-A new sub, Alpine type r 1222d, was cheap as is only running on one coil but is loud enough for my daily use and gives me some space for my cleaning gear. Double sub is still in my possession for special occasions ;)

-Got a BMC DIA on the way which is purely for noise purposes. The OMP panel filters sound nice, but i want abit more roar.

-Got another alpine amp ready to go in for the front speakers.

-Ordered my rear ARB from awesome Al today :D

Been keeping on top of the dirt and washing and waxing every week, can't stand having a dirty car!

Ill pull my finger out and get some proper pictures up soon!

Coilies coming soon..... i realised if i wait and get proper ones £400 ish, i won't want to upgrade so soon as if i got JOMs.

Got the ARB on yesterday, what a difference. The car doesn't try to kill me around corners. It goes exactly where you point it. Also Fitted the BMC DIA, all ill say is, my car does not sound like a 1.0 :)

i didnt think there would be much point in fitting one of these to a 1.0, does it really do anything apart from make it sound nicer ?

It has altered the sound drastically, loads of induction roar :) it has made it a tad quicker but not enough to shout about and that was not the intention anyway, I wanted noise and I got it!:)

Alpine Type Rs .

:) My system is no way near the loudest but the quality is insane. I actually did my music revision for my A-level last year in my car listening to classical music (Gustav Mahler), its not all yobbo tunes ;)

Need the exhaust doing aswell for some decent noise, the standard setup muffles too much low frequency noise.
