Just looked all this whole thread again for the 6 time, love how clean this is man and love how good it looks on G60s!:thumbsup:

Cheers Craig! Got some wheel ideas in mind for next year, want a new head unit and a momo team too, I've actually bought a set of wheels, although I've given them to my misses for her Arosa as a Christmas present, there what JamesTDi used to run on his..

..I've been polishing one up and detailing it couldn't help myself lol..1 hour later we have a shiny dish, shiny centre, dressed tyre too..

Started cleaning up the interior today, passenger seat was in a bad state so I started there, all hoovered out and shampoo'd apart from the drivers seat as the passenger seat has my cover on, I'm sure the misses wouldn't be happy about a wet backside lmao!

Drivers seat has seen better days too, carpet and dash all cleaned here though..

Up front I'm on standard steels as I've two bald tyres and I wanted a little bit of a tyre wall in case it snowed lol..

I always think that Mitch haha! But then I wash it and I'm like...hmm..

That back end looks lovely...bit of dirt just shows it's a daily!

It lives a hard daily life it does too!

Just dropped Olivia off, took the seat cover off and put the heaters on and inside it's like new :) good start to show season prep, photos to follow in the coming days!

...very tempted to refurb the Baby G's and get some new treads on them for next year but I neeeed some 15s on there with poke :/

Then, I did something...that I wasn't going to do...I began to rub down the steels for a re-spray and two new tyres, I wasn't going to do this I was going to just buy some 15s in the new year and run them for shows but I can't help myself, I love these steels lol! Someone stop me! D: I neeeed some 15s :(

Some detailing work done this morning :)

My near side arch liner came out at the rear, there Lupo GTi ones modified to fit and I think I made them too well as it snagged the bumper as it came out, it broke the clip on the wheel arch and ripped it off the screw on the underside, it also made the panel gap between the boot and bumper uneven..

Off it came to make repairs and see why it wasn't fitting correctly

Couldn't help myself but clean up all that dirt behind the bumper! Just under seal left now :)

After a good look around it was just the bumper had been taken away from a lip on the car and wasn't seated right, after refitting it correctly it sat perfect, time to wash it and detail it before it goes back on the car :)

Almost ready to go back on, just touched up some areas on the bumper itself and also gave my tail pipe a lick of high temp silver paint to freshen it up a little :)

Nice work Adam, great attention to detail! Look forward to seeing where you take this this year ;)

Thanks Alex, I'm looking forward to my ideas coming together! ^_^

How did you do your panel gap Adam, mine was messed up by the painter!

Jo

Mines screwed too, tried pushing in the bumper when tightening but no luck. Is it the bootlid?

There's a lip on the bumper that sits against a ledge above the vents on the rear panel, make sure that's straight aswell as the bumper sitting flush agains it :)
