BEP51
the difference is so much better, anyone know any near identical 16" alloys? (not simply bathursts)
jon_273
I can think of a few similar OEM alloys but they are all 5x100, so you would need adapters.
BEP51
I wonder if bathursts could be refurbished to fill in the notches at the ends of the spokes? I will look to see what they look like without centre caps, cos I don't like caps on alloys, makes them seem like steelies.
BEP51
saw these at swdubs meet, they looked quite nice, but still not sure.i really like these, Bolt Pattern: 5 x 100Note: 32mm offsetSize: 17" x 7.5"what things would i need to get them to fit? current offset on standard trims is 43 and 6J if any help. marcusgrant
you would need a new car to fit them too. 17x7.5 is massive for a lupo.
marcusgrant
Thought of getting these before, 5x100 again so you need adaptors.http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://imganuncios.mitula.net/mk4_golf_1_9_gt_tdi_130_92487769396167968.jpg&imgrefurl=http://cars.mitula.co.uk/cars/engine-manual-golf-mk4-tdi&usg=__t6jYxI9RnJrrjNpgR8auWJsWkTw=&h=268&w=358&sz=24&hl=en&start=39&zoom=1&tbnid=MeMk3cKqNKDiNM:&tbnh=165&tbnw=216&ei=9bs8TaK-H86ChQeLgdGuCg&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dgolf%2Bmk4%2Btdi%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26sa%3DN%26biw%3D1280%26bih%3D685%26tbs%3Disch:10,1216&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=1016&vpy=62&dur=154&hovh=167&hovw=223&tx=160&ty=143&oei=7Ls8TaitFYiAhAftn7yKCg&esq=3&page=3&ndsp=15&ved=1t:429,r:4,s:39&biw=1280&bih=685i think they would look very smart
BEP51
Think i might temporarily go for some bathursts next time some pop up on the forum at a decent price with decent tyres to see if i like them, then, if not, just resell them and go back to the current ones.I assume the offset is virtually irrelevant and they will just bolt straight on and work, or would i need rolled arches so they dont rub? marcusgrant
bathurst will bolt straight on, no probs with archs

BEP51
see standards look GOOD, (when bigger)
Big Jase
if you want some cool oem 16's have a search for audi TT mini comps... they are like the 17" COMPS but in 16" guise, they are 5x100 however so would require some adaptors, think there about et32, and the smallest adaptors you can get is 16mm so would end up et16 so probs need mega stretched tires and arch mods
BEP51
nah, i would want them to sit as normal wheels as if made for the car. any possibility to buy "blank" alloys and have someone drill them?
BEP51
Anybody have any pictures, not photoshopped, of non-gti lupos with bathursts on. all i can find is an (overly lowered for my taste) green one with black ones on it.Im sure i saw one on here before but didnt pay enough attention to it.(Photoshop just cant quite produce anything accurate enough as there arent enough decent pics of gti's on standards)Thanks in advance for anything u find. Jowey
I think Bluloops (Colin's) second Lupo is/was sat on BBS Bathurst Wheels
BEP51
wow! great find in red too! acually looks quite good on it, especially a tad lower on my current suspension height would fill the arches very nicely i think.
