Lowlife?

Also this weekend i think i'm gonna take the car down another 10-20mm

So it'll sit at around 100mm and completely adjuster less at the back.

Probably finally get round to dewipering the back as well seeing as i think the water jet pipe is leaking into my boot anyway haha

Quick update, shes sitting pretty low now, fronts are down 90-95 mm, no scrubbing on the wheels

however with laguna splitter added on front, oh we scrape quite a bit.

In other news me and max-WestYorks are refurbing my new wheels at the weekend and should have tyres before the end of the month.

then the rear adjusters come out and the arch rolling begins

Weekend, im rolling the arches and fitting my camber shims, hopefully fully adjuster less on the rear and last 10mm of tread on front.

update time....

wheels are on (BBS RZ 15x7 et 24)

tyres are stretched (165/50)

rear arches are rolled 45 degrees, fronts are standard for now.

rears are spaced 5mm and adjusters are completely out with cut bump stops on the shocks :shades:

favourite photo i have of her from today.

5aeffbe0.jpg

how low she is getting

d0741561-1.jpg

flush, stretch, and where you can see the proper colour.

DSCF1627.jpg

cars are 95mm down on front now and completely adjusterless on the back

just chilling under a bridge

DSCF1597-1.jpg

cross process with me looking like a tool

7a33cef5-1.jpg

as far as plans go, i want her lower. :coffee:

renting a proper arch roller soon and doing fronts and rears fully,

then splitter is coming off and will probably be for sale.

once that is done rears are being cambered as i have shims just not got round to fitting them, and swapping 5mm spacers to 10-15mm ones

other bits that need doing :(

front lights need the lamin-x re applying in the darkest shade.

a slight bend in one of the sills needs straightening.

then want a new bonnet as mine is quite scuffed, then she will be getting a full blow over.

also not sure if i like the black lip/dish on the wheels, think it makes em look really small....

Looks really nice mate, the colour of them BBS are really nice

I think i'd be getting a purple set if i had a black lupo B)

Still havent seen you about halifax yet, im keeping my eye out.

Thanks man!

I thought that and i've seen a few black ones with purple wheels, but all bright candy coloured ones, so i thought a dark matte purple might be a bit different :)

looking nice mate :D

Thanks man, i'm getting closer to being 'stanced' haha, i do need some advice on how to get my back end a bit lower once ive got my shims on.

I'll hit you up on facebook group or something! :D

what technique you use to roll the arches? need to attack mine

just a rubber mallet and a heat gun, and just do it really slowly and patiently, did about the top 1/2 of mine to about a 45 degree angle and that seems enough to stop the arches gouging the tyres.

There is lots of methods ive seen used, the baseball bat method seems the craziest ive seen, easiest way would just be to rent an arch roller for a weekend off eBay for £60 :)

i'm completely skint from buying tyres atm or id have rented one, but when adjsuters came out it scrubbed too much for me not to do anything about it for a week haha B)

if you only need it rolling a bit though its really easy enough to go at with a mallet, good luck with it mate!

The subtle purple on black looks really smart :)

@Mike Rubber mallet, copious amounts of heat gun useage and paticents is good for rolling arches. Take your time and dont try to fold the lip up in one go. Oh a wooden block on the outside of the arch where you're hitting is a good idea aswell. Save the palm of your hand abit.

Ps, excus the dodgey spelling.
