bossjohnc
My lupo just went in to have it's spoiler resprayed as it was bubbling around the edges (warranty job).I now have the most unloved, dented, scratched, untidy, shameful excuse for a 1.0l lupo style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />It's sad to see them in this state really - esp. when they can look so nice if you keep them well and treat them to a few bits! (e.g. Tigz's).Roll on Friday when I get my GTi back - I miss it already!!
gargoil
Why do they need it for so long just to spray a spoiler?

Crusoe
Give him a chance to practice his full bore starts though, not your tyres after all style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> and it's the only way you can get away from the lights faster than a push bike hehe
starbank
A few weeks back some buffoon scratched his signature along my bonnet. Gutted I was. Well I decided to get the whole bonnet and the front bumper/spoiler (due to stone chips etc) resprayed by a specialist bodyshop. It took 2 days, turned out great and ended up costing just £250, a whacking £150 cheaper than two VW dealers were quoting me in Edinburgh. It turns out that the bodyshop I went to and was recommended used to do all the work for these VW dealers, but some overpaid moron took charge and decided to keep all the bodyshop work `in-house`. I wonder why eh! Whilst I was dropping the car off the owner showed me another car he was working on, a Mk2 Golf with a VR6 engine `shoe-horned` in, bucket seats and ridiculously low suspension. just sprayed in a metallic green!? BigMon
My Loop's going in for a bit of lovin' shortly (or it's 2.5 year service) and I'm going to try and get a courtesy car:List Of Must Do's1) Cane the crap out of it when it's cold2) Spin those wheels (I once redlined a hire Hyundai in first and dropped the clutch and the cabin stunk of burnt rubber for ages)3) Go full tilt over speed humps/ramps4) Handbrake it into a car park space at work Starsky and Hutch styleeI'm sure the rest of you can come up with some other suitable suggestions.
