Wheel center bore vauxhall to vw

I got myself so compomotive mo,s 16" 7.5j and et49 they were a good price so i snapped them up.They came off a mk3 astra and i belIve the wheel centre bore is smaller than a vw center bore will it take much to get them to fit? I know i will need spacers etc...

From a quick google it says Vauxhall centre bore is 56.6. So 0.5mm less than VW's 57.1.

Try them first, they may fit straight on, if not, I'd just take the tiniest bit off with some wet and dry paper.

i got corsa steels on my lupo, tight fit, bit of elbow grease and there fine !

I have heard this before.

When you force them on you tend to remove the protective finish off the steel wheel and the hub.

That then oxidises.. and they weld themselves together. :lol:

Use plenty of copper-slip grease

I was browsing the internet to get the same answer, and found these. I have ordered them....

these turn vw in to vauxhall not vauxhall into vw ...
