Oggie
Hi,My GF has a Lupo GTi (2000)It was purchased with chopped suspension (Pikey job, cut the OEM springs)Coilivers are overkill for what she uses the car for, so, lowering springs look like the better option.I have Eibach Sportlines (~35mm drop) and improved stability and handling on my Clio 172 and I'm more than happy with them, also, they were very well recommeded by other 1*2 owners.-Are there any specific springs that excel for the Lupo GTi ? If none excel, are there a typre/brand that would come recommended? Thanks,Regards

crash
I have the Eibachs on my GTi mate. They improve the handling a small amount and seem to work well with the shocks. Not really very low if you are running 15" but I have 16" wheels and the arch gap isnt toooo horrendous.
Mike_M
Eibachs all the way with the standard shocks.............they work very well and had no issues with mine.

Kam Racing
i doubt it will handle like the clio though. anyone had the bilstein B10 kit?or koni str.t?The B10's are not a common choice but we've had really good feedback on the couple we've sold.. Kam Racing
The Eibach springs are without a doubt the best.. They use top quality materials and their springs are progressively wound so they improve the performance without loosing any ride quality.. Big Jase
im soon to be fitting an AP fixed suspension kit of uprated dampers and lowered springs .... front 40mm rear 30mm supposedly...i was in the same predicament as yourself bought the lupo for the other half to drive, but mines has shocking ebay coilovers on... worst handling car i've ever driven... so did a lot of research and i went with ap fixed suspension kit... all in to my door it is £280, which you can't go wrong with...and i've read lots of good things about AP, same company as KW and Weitec but these are the budget option from them...KW - bestWeitec - middleAP - lower endso im hoping all the reviews are correct and they are good Edited February 28, 2011 by Big Jase
