ermmurray
wouldn't advise going more than 50mm with springs, i'm pretty sure you can't get them anyway.. coilovers are pretty much the only option im afraid to say:/ mine cost 500 including fitting.. steep eh! AwesomeAl
I've had a look around and the only springs I can get for the fox are a 30mm.
th3d0g
Hi all,I have just got a Fox 1.2 Urban, its my first car. I would like to start adding some mods, alloys and springs.Whats the score with having modifications done? Will it void my warranty? Must I have VW approved parts fitted by a VW workshop?Appreciate any help.Nate.
nfbr
You will need to speak with your local VW Dealer. In theory modifications should only affect the warranty on the components which are directly connected. So for example, if you fit a Cat-back exhaust, they shouldn't be able to void your warranty on things like the Dashboard or the steering wheel. Likewise if you fit a set of springs, they can only really void the warranty on the standard suspension set up. However, Different dealers view these things in different light. Some VW dealers are not too fussed by modifications, however with others it is a strict no! I've heard of one dealer voiding the entire warranty of the car because the customer had fitted an aftermarket CD player to the vehicle!
