I've not really been on here since I sold my Lupo, but I thought I'd make a thread for my Polo GTi just incase anyone's interested Plus my other half (Hodge112) is on here and I thought it might be nice for people to put a car to the face at shows I bought the car last September with just over 60k on the clock. Club standing at TattonI've only entered it in two show and shines so far, and come away with these so so far so good I'm hoping for more of a problem free show season next year, so hopefully I'll manage to get to a few more shows!Any comments are welcome! Don't think the Polo will be making it this year Only just got it running right after all the problems I've been having and not sure I 100% trust it for the journey. I'm pretty gutted but at least I've got all winter to get it looking lovely for next year We'll be in the Golf at Edition! Took my false floor out yesterday to recover and get rid of the cheap looking pink material but managed to mess up the fabric I was gonna put on So I thought while it was out I may as well get some trimming practice and decided to cover it in some other red I had lying around. Now I'm not sure whether to just keep it this colour. I know it doesn't really match the colour of the leather, but I'm worried it'll end up just looking pink again with the brighter red I was going to use Any thoughts?!!The picture's not great tbh and still kinda makes it look pink ha, will try and get a better one tomorrow. And maybe one with the colour I was going to use too for comparison. But for now...I also decided to cover the plastic tailgate trim to tidy it up a bit. It's not exactly perfect, but it'll do until I can afford to get it done properly. I need to tidy up the tailgate plastic as it's a bit rough around the edges, but it's not too bad for a first attempt As promised here's a picture of the boot with a cut off of the material I was originally gonna used before I fudged it up I know it's not a perfect match with the leather, but it's better than what's on the floor at the minute and my god it's hard trying to find a red that matches!Any thoughts on whether I should get some more of the new red or just keep it as it is? Also got these today, just need to get them repainted.
