robertfleckney
Would you consider this to be excessive on such a small engine? My thinking was that, at the worst, a new engine might be required in not too distant future and ebay seems to throw up a few for around £200 which is no biggy. bikemad04
If its been serviced regually and well maintained engine should be ok.
.Phase
it's the labour of a new engine that's costly not the actual engine I'd avoid a 130k 1.0 tbh
Defcon5
Given its a 1.0 little city car, I would be worried that is spent its entire life doing short journeys and cold starts constantly.I doubt its being nice and relaxed pottering down the M1 all day long

robertfleckney
Well, after testing driving it, it was obvious it had had 137k hard miles under its belt.Couldn't get it into first gear, awful spongey brakes which felt like they barely stopped the car and numerous other things which required attention to make it sound. However, we ended up buying another Arosa with only 49k and FSH which drove like it was 3 years old. Extremely happy now
