VwLupo 1.0 se
hi could anybody tell me if it would be easy to convert a 1.0 8v to a 1.4 8v cause 1.4 8v still has drums on back am i rite in saying could anybody shed some light on weather these could be done thanks
REDLooP
This could be done, but would need a v from a polo or arosa. But tbh it's a pointless conversion, as it's only give an extra 10bhp and similar ft of torque at most. Which is alot further down the rev range, which also mean if u use the orginal gearbox you will be reving higher at lower speeds.
Philplop
Both lupo engines? All 1.4 Lupos are 16v, the S's are 75bhp and the Sports are 100bhp.

REDLooP
The seat arosa came with a 1.4 8vIt could be done pretty easy i guess, but a pretty pointless conversion. Might aswellstrip weight out instead, underfloor sound deadening is a easy start
