I'm thinking of selling my Lupo GTI and looked on autotrader to see what there worth.

Mine is:

GTI

Grey anthracite

48,500 miles

2004 (04)

Heated Leather

Air Con

CD Player

Theres some on there for £7k, so was thinking mine is worth £6500ish?

What you guys think?

Hi mate, Ive just sold my GTi a month ago.....

Same milage as yours but 2002/02 with leathers, and was silver. etc etc.

It was absolutley spotless without a mark on it.

I got £6k.

hope that gives you a ball park figure :)

I wouldn't think you would have a problem at all shifting it for £6500 if it's in good condition.

It's quite rare to have leather, A/C and Anthracite on the same car, in fact apart from mine yours is the only other one I've heard of!

I think that would be a fair price, there is a Anthracite GTI on a 54 plate floating around at that sort of price, that car does not have leather and has some aftermarket alloy wheels, it is also missing a headlamp washer cover. It was sold at one point but I notice it has resurfaced on Pistonheads.

A definite future classic. If it hadn't been for problems with my lockup I wouldn't have sold up - it was a minter - sold last year (at 4 years old), FVWSH, every receipt, completely standard and only 20k on the clock :( .

Nice colour

The car market seems slow at the moment so dont expect to sell within a week or two i was after a TDI lupo and keep seeing the same ones week after week the GTIs are much harder to sell as i think most people are cutting back on spending although the high spec of your car will help to sell it since most GTIs dont come with aircon or heated leather .

Best of luck with your sale anyway .

Looks great, what is the badge under the GTI badge?

Do you have the details of the service history?

Its a Wolfsburg Edtion badge

Its got a VW service history upto 2007, then after that its been serviced by a local VW specialist. Last service was done in June. I've got all the reciepts

Cambelt was done in 2008, front pads and discs just done. New rear tailgate spoiler + brake light. MOT til June 2011.

Hi I'd agree with most of the others

If it were me I'd put it up as £6995.00 a lot of people like the grey.

Have in your head the minimum you will take is 6500.00 as you would have been hapy enough with that in first place what ever it gets above is a bonus & gives you & the buyer some flexibility.

If i was after a Grey one it would tick the boxes for me & i would defo buy for 6500.00 with the mileage leather air con/spec you have.

Dude why are you selling haha? I just bought mine and am putting it completely to factory new as in gear gator and knob pannels ect. Its really low millage and there going to be worth a fortune soon (few years). If you can afford to try and start again and garage yours. That is a mental spec Lupo GTI as good as they come. Only did so many in the Anthracite so you have the rarest colour then you got air con and leather heated seats. Its the best one i have heard of to date.

WIN WIN mate. I would have bought this off you for 7 had i not just bought mine. In fact anyone want mine for 5 and a half ill buy this one haha!
