I think a few people have worked out that I bought it off SamGTI on here.Spec:AnthraciteAir ConditioningFactory heater leatherWietec Coiloversplus some other bits and pieces.I've already given it a full service, and put the adjusters in the rear coilovers so it sits level. It needs a few little jobs doing like a new radiator fan(done), new drivers door lock micro-switch(fixed), sort the intermittent lambda sensor fault(done), plus the drivers seat height adjuster seems a bit rubbish(fixed). Oh and the wheels need balancing too(done), but I'm hoping to sell them soon and get a set of Bathursts(done).Not bad though for a car that needed no money spent on it . To be fair though Sam was very honest and I knew about the faults before I bought it.BTW Phil, those discs are all rusty on the back. They've been sitting there for well over 3 years, and are quite probably the original discs from mine.You going to get some other 256's to try on, or just hang on for some Bathursts? I'd stick with the 280's tbh, especially as they're expensive discs and pads. I would have liked to have seen the Starlites on though.I like it though, like the colour, like the leather. I thought you were more mature than this.Get a set of Bathurst on, you know you are really an OEM sort of guy.Full set of OEM replacement Mintex discs and pads on eBay item no 330350270809 - I'm pretty happy with mine after palying with upgraded EBC discs and my VW Specialist says they're good quality....and what were you doing at Phil's?
