How do i remove the partition on my Hard Drive?

Propbably been asked loads before...sorry if it has.

Need to remove the partition between sides of my hard drive on my laptop. Both drives are named already so i think i need to just format it

Its a mystery so help me!!!

You would be better moving your data to the D:\ and changing the default "My Documents" to that drive.

This would mean that when you need to rebuild Windows on the C:\ you wont have to bother backing-up the data first.

Sorry re-install Windows.

If you move the Documents folder by right clicking "Documents"; "Properties" and using the "Location" tab to "Move..." your Documents to the D:\ it will change the registry entries to match.

If you get issues, you can reset it in the same manner back to default.

All of our machines at work have the My Documents\Documents folder pointing to the network and we have no issues.

Check your D:\ is big enough first.

It will move everything in your "Documents" folder and amend the registry paths so Windows and other applications can find them.

I didin't say you had to re-install Windows now, but when you need to, or wish to in the future.
