JB1.0e
I think a GTI is a wise choice, they hold their value really well, they will more than likely become a classic too. I also think if you have it in mind a 1.4 will never be enough (frankly with your garage a GTI will probably still feel slow ). Good luck with your search and I am glad that you found this useful. amynjustin
Hi,I was gonna go look at a 53 1.4 Sport on sat but not sure now as many of your points said with the 1.4 Sport? I have also been told today and would like to know if true or not that the engines on the Lupo weren't made of the right metal and can't be skimmed if a piston ring were to go? Please help! Many thanksAmy
amynjustin
Hi,I was thinking about getting a 53 1.4 Sport but not sure now are they really the weakest model? And have been told due to the metal used if a piston ring were to go that the head cant be skimmed? Help don't want to spend £3k on something that's gonna be a problem.ThanksAmy
FunkyNutbar
This post was really handy, just bought my first car today a Lupo 1.0 E, this showed me loads of things to look for and thankfully found very little of the things listed! Thanks again!
