Hi all

my dad opened the boot with the key so now when you open the central locking on the car the boot stays locked and can only be opened with the key

any ideas how to reset this?

any help will be appreciated.

Hiya,

well it sounds like you might have the same problem as what ive had, the barrel and the mechanism on the boot has nackered, but mine still opend with a key, so id take it to the dealer and get it looked at, for a new barrel to match the key your looking about 30 days

Hope this helps

Hi I have had this problem 3 times now. take the car back to the dealer (book it in as my dealer always wants the car for the day ((9:00-3:30 aprox)))

They do somthing and it works again.

The first two times it happend was when I was pressing the remote as somone tryed to get in the boot. The last on was because of the cold (I think).

Hope this helps

I did this, then i realised you have the turn the lock back to its original position for it to work with the remote locking system, otherwise its always locked unless opened with the key. no need to take it to anyone its a feature it seems.
